Milwaukee has always had a music scene, in bars, clubs, and basement venues—throughout this scene, queer voices existed but were never given that stage. 

Countless shows spread by word of mouth, the band dying along with the night as the music stops. 

UNPLUGGED Milwaukee is here to flip that switch, as queer voices existing as the foundation for this magazine, we rarely hear about my community in music locally, and we're sure we're not the only ones. 

Queer people are messy, loud, and we are your inspiration.
